Season One: Adulting in your 20s
This season features more than twenty-five episodes of conversations and self reflections on discovering the adulting world in your 20s. From navigating the hookup culture to handling your personal finances and imposter syndrome.
Episode 01: What story are you telling yourself about yourself?
Welcome to Can We Talk!
In this episode, I talk about IDENTITY and the importance of knowing who you are especially in your 20s. What do you base your identity on? Your own values and experiences? Your family? Your social media?
Episode 02: Everyone is hooking up
In this episode, we explore hook up culture and how it has impacted society's dating world, as well as mental health. What are your thoughts on hookup culture? How are you navigating dating and commitment in a society where casual sex has become the norm?
Episode 3:Â What Do You Want To Be When You Grow Up?
In this episode, we explore the decisions we make when it comes to our career life. How do you make your decisions in your career life? How do you decide which jobs to apply for and what field you are choosing to navigate? How do you balance between working to survive and fulfillment?
Episode 04: F.R.I.E.N.D.S
How are your friendships as an adult going? Not the 500 friends you have on Facebook or that one friend you randomly find at the bar every Saturday and share drinks with. Your tribe/squad play a huge role in influencing your behaviour and energy. 20s are a transitional period where we outgrow friendships and gain new ones just as much. Are you trading face-to-face interaction for social media friendships? Is your squad facilitating your development?
Episode 05: Mental Health
How is your mental health holding up as you navigate the ups and downs of adulting? What tools are you clutching on to to keep from going under? Is it hard for you to talk about your bad days? Mental health affects how we think, feel and act. We need to take care of our minds first before we can be on our A game in all areas of our lives. So let's talk mental health in this last episode of the first season of the Can we talk? podcast!

Ep. 8: Is this love?
How has your definition of love changed throughout the years? What does it mean to you to love someone? How do you feel loved? Is loving yourself separate from loving others? The way we are introduced to love through our relationship with our parents, the movies we watched as kids or the novels we read, shapes a lot of the unconscious ways we behave in intimate relationships. That perception may change as we evolve, through experiences of love, heartbreak and everything in between. We dive into the topic of love on this episode!
